Funding Wallets

Before users or agents can transact on Sui, their wallets need tokens. Users who already hold SUI on a centralized exchange can withdraw to their Sui wallet address:

  1. Copy the Sui address from the wallet.
  2. In the exchange, initiate a withdrawal for SUI on the Sui network.
  3. Paste the Sui address as the withdrawal destination.
  4. The SUI arrives in the wallet after the exchange processes the withdrawal.

Bridging from other chains​

To move assets from Ethereum, Solana, or other blockchains to Sui, use a cross-chain bridge:

  • Wormhole: Supports bridging tokens between Sui and multiple chains including Ethereum, Solana, and others.

  • Sui Bridge: Native bridge between Sui and Ethereum.

Bridged assets arrive as wrapped tokens on Sui. The wrapped token's coin type address differs from the native token's address on the source chain.

Faucet tokens have no monetary value and cannot be transferred to Mainnet.
